Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner
Theresa Albert, DHN, RNCP started her personal chef business; Thyme For Supper in 1995, cooking for our city’s hurried and worried.
Then, Theresa wrote the book, so to speak, on how to get healthy, beautiful meals on the table in real time. Her book Cook Once a Week, Eat Well Every Day (HarperCollins Canada/Marlowe Press US) has helped North Americans streamline their food attitudes and find a way to eat better each and every day. Many recognize her as the host of Food Network Canada’s Just One Bite a daily television show designed to help parents feed their kids better one bite at a time.
In private practice as a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner, at the Toronto Clinic as well as within The Yorkville Clubs in Toronto, Theresa counsels and coaches those same hurried and worried wrestle their food demons and have better health, more time and less stress in their eating lives. Her guidance as a food coach and nutritionist is realistic, concrete and geared toward helping those who love to eat learn how to have it all.
As a consultant to corporations, non-profit organizations as well as a media spokesperson and motivational speaker, Theresa’s message is always clear, she believes that “food is at the very centre of both our inner and outer worlds. It is the cornerstone of our health, our culture, our economy and our social lives. We need to find ways to make it as beautiful, sensible and healthful as we want the rest of our lives to be!”
