Executive Life Coach

Erika is a certified executive and life coach, and psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She works with clients to help them increase self-awareness in order to create more choice in personal and professional pursuits and to arrive at their own definition of balance and fulfillment. She inspires clients to commit themselves to their healthy living goals and supports them on their journey to achieving those goals. Her approach is appreciative, strength-based, and client driven with a focus on self and relationships. Clients are empowered to improve and nurture their personal and professional relationships and to take more risks in the pursuit of leadership, happiness and balance. Erika works with clients to improve their style of interaction, accountability, collaboration and communication skills, stress management and self-trust.

Work-life balance is of particular interest in her practice as Erika has devoted her life to achieving her own definition of balance though self-discovery, personal and professional growth, and nurturing her family and friends. She works with individual clients as well as corporate and volunteer groups helping them address these important issues. She has developed and conducted life balance workshops, which she has implemented for the Canadian Breast Cancer and York University Foundations. She has also been instrumental in the creation of a workshop which enhances wellness by integrating nutritional knowledge with coaching tools to help implement an individual's nutritional goals.

Erika is an expert in executive leadership training, delivering workshops nationally for the Women’s Executive Network. Her expertise has been recognized by the International Positive Psychology Association and the Women’s Executive Network. She has and continues conduct academic research on leadership development based on VIA Signature Strengths.

Erika has done significant work in enhancing collaboration and communication among academic teams at the University of Toronto. She has also led workshops in communication and persuasion skills at Upper Canada College, where she also on the Board of Mentoring Ties. She is adjunct assistant professor at the University of Toronto.
